Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-20
Introduction
This policy explains how ToolMeshly handles information when you use our website and tools. We aim for transparency: many utilities run locally in your browser, while file-based features require server processing.
If you disagree with this policy, please discontinue use of the service.
Who we are
ToolMeshly is operated as a web application made available to visitors worldwide. For privacy requests, contact us at [email protected].
What we process
Operational data: standard web server and application logs (for example timestamps, rough IP-derived data, request paths, and error diagnostics) needed to operate and secure the service.
Analytics events: lightweight events sent to our API (for example tool usage success or copy actions) to understand product usage. These events are designed not to include your full tool inputs.
File uploads: when you use file-based tools, files are transmitted to our servers for processing and are not described here as permanently stored unless we explicitly add storage features later.
Preferences: we may store language and theme preferences using cookies or similar technologies so the site remembers your choices.
Local tools vs server tools
Text-oriented tools are intended to run in your browser by default, which reduces exposure of your input to our infrastructure.
File-oriented tools require server-side processing; do not upload files you are not permitted to share with the service operator.
Service providers and international transfers
We use infrastructure and software providers (including hosting and error monitoring). Some may process limited technical data on our behalf and may be located outside your country, including in the United States.
Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers (for example Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).
Error monitoring
We use Sentry to collect technical error reports and performance diagnostics when the application fails. This helps us fix defects and improve stability. We configure Sentry to minimize personal data and avoid attaching your full tool inputs to reports where feasible.
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have statutory rights regarding your personal data (such as access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability), subject to applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Retention
Log retention depends on hosting and configuration. We aim to keep logs only as long as needed for security and reliability. If you need deletion of information tied to your requests, email [email protected] and we will respond within reasonable limits.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser. You can stop using file tools if you do not want files transmitted to servers.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Email [email protected] to make a request.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date on the Legal hub indicates the latest revision.
